Printer or Copier?

It is widely thought that copiers are always cheaper than printers. Of course this is sometimes true because copiers are a lot cheaper per print, but this isn’t the final say on how expensive each machine is. Before you

make a decision about what kind of machine you want for your office, you should consider all of the possible costs of owning a machine for the office.

One of the key things to think about when comparing copiers and printers is the initial cost of each machine. This may seem obvious but a lot of people overlook this when considering the cost of owning devices for the office. Copiers are so much more expensive upfront that printers are often cheaper for the total time of owning them.

The other thing to consider is that a lot of copiers have a printer version that have a lot of the same features as their copier counterpart, and can do almost as high quality a job as the copier version. You shouldn’t just assume that it will always be cheaper to own a copier over a printer.
