Questions for your Leasing Agent

Getting a great copier lease is almost entirely about working with a company, and a leasing agent, that you trust. Copier leases have a reputation for being difficult to understand and even hard to get a fair lease on a great machine. We want to help everyone get better copier leases, and a great way to do that is to have some questions to ask your leasing agent before signing your contract.

  • Can you explain the entire pricing of my lease? Don’t let them just tell you the price of leasing the copier. There is going to be more on your lease that you need to understand. Demand a full breakdown of your payments. If they won’t do this honestly then they may be hiding something.
  • What do you think is best for my business? This is best if you already have an idea of what you need. If you feel that they are just pushing you to expensive options then they probably are only in it for the money.
  • What kind of help can I expect to get? You want to make sure that your leasing company has your back when you need it. Make sure you understand what kind of business you are dealing with and if they actually care about you.

Questions like these will make it so much easier to figure out the details of your lease. It is also a good way to figure out if you think that the leasing agent is actually looking to help you. Don’t settle for someone who you think only wants your money. Work with the people who are interested in helping your business grow.
